Currently a Research Associate at Wits, Frankel’s painterly and literary interests intertwine to highlight aspects of cultural and spiritual memory, migration and exile.

My Philosophy

“My work is an act of remembrance — each line, each letter, each stroke is a way of preserving the stories we inherit and the places we come from.”
